Refund policy

IN-STORE RETURN POLICY

Lewis & Clark is happy to accept returns bought in store for a full refund within ten days of purchase and accompanied by a receipt. After ten days, or without a receipt, we offer store credit for the total amount of the purchase.

ONLINE RETURN POLICY

Lewis & Clark's online store is happy to accept domestic returns by mail within thirty days of original purchase. We regret that we are unable to refund original shipping costs, or pay for return shipping costs. We are also unable to accept returns mailed after thirty days of original purchase.

Local customers are invited to return online purchases to our brick and mortar location thirty days after order date to return online purchases for a full refund.

Our online store does not accept exchanges, however our brick and mortar location  will be happy to assist with exchanges in person.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Gift certificates are non-returnable, as are international orders.

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

To return an eligible order, you should mail your item(s) to: 1116 State St., Santa Barbara CA 93101, United States.

Please include proof of purchase (your invoice) in the return order. You are welcome to email us at lewisandclarksb@gmail.com to let us know to expect your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

REFUNDS:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved for a refund, then a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. The amount of time it takes for the refund to appear will vary depending on your bank or credit processor.
